Missouri House Bill No. 1370 requires public school districts to create a financial accountability portal for public use by September 1, 2019. According to the bill, districts must develop, maintain, and make publicly available, at a minimum, a searchable expenditure and revenue document or database detailing actual income, expenditures, and disbursements for the current fiscal year. The data must be presented in a structured format, updated quarterly, and remain available for a minimum of 10 years.
