How We Communicate in an Emergency

ALL communication methods will be launched in an emergency situation where student safety has been compromised. This includes phone, text, email, and mobile app. Download the ParentSquare app for FREE in Google Play or the App Store. The District's first priority will always be student and staff safety and we will strive to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information as quickly as possible. 

District social media accounts and our website will be updated as information becomes available. Every effort will be made to notify parents of those directly involved in the emergency first through direct messaging. During incidents, district officials are focused on the situation at hand. Therefore, social media will most likely not be closely monitored for comments and questions. The purpose of messaging on these platforms will be to get messaging out to a larger audience quickly. 

Tune into local radio and television stations for emergency announcements and status reports.
