Bright Futures Lincoln County assists families and students by removing barriers to a child’s education.

Facebook has helped us provide:

• Uniform for a student to start a job
• Baby food for a student’s baby
• Contact lens supplies for a teen
• Clothing for children who were displaced from their home
• Shoes for kids who have holes in theirs
• Feminine hygiene products for our students

Some items that Bright Futures has assisted with in the past include:

• Funding an assessment that resulted in a graduate
• Purchasing a phone charger for a family living in their car
• Connecting families with housing assistance
• Assisting families with budgeting
• Supporting families after house fires
